Living in Australia and getting married in Santorini meant that we didn't have the luxury of choosing the vendors for our wedding by physically being there and meeting them. Instead we did lots of research and came across Nathan's photos on the internet. After deciding to go through with him, we eventually met him about 3 days prior to our wedding. He arrived at our hotel and went through our plans for the wedding day in a very professional manner. On our actual wedding day, he arrived with his assistant and was very flexible. We had asked him to choose a local area so we could do first look photos and it couldn't have been a better location! Nathan made sure to take photos of us in a few different places and even helped tell us where to put our hands, arms and the direction we were looking in. When we received our photos via mail, it was on a usb in a beautiful box. The photos were absolutely beautiful and captured just how much fun we were having on the day. From the moment I saw Nathan’s portfolio I knew that he would be the best photographer for our wedding. Choosing Nathan Wyatt as our wedding photographer really was one of the best decisions we made.
On our wedding day we felt in safe hands. His experience and professionalism allowed us to relax and feel comfortable in front of the camera. Nathan is truly talented, we barely noticed him at the wedding, he knew where to be at the right times to catch all the special moments, even the little moments of happiness that may not have been seen with a more traditional photographer.
We also had our pre wedding shooting with Nathan, so we got to know him a bit better. He is very friendly, patient and easy to get along with. He was so relaxed and was not pushy or intrusive at all.
Our pictures turned out amazing – warm and very natural, which was important to us. And the quality of the photos really is first-rate!

Having chosen Santorini as our wedding destination, we knew having an amazing photographer was a top priority. After doing some research on Google, I came across Nathan and fell in love with his work. I knew he was the perfect choice to shoot our wedding. Nathan was absolutely fantastic to work with! "Me and my fiancè had been planning our wedding on Santorini for some time and were on the lookout for a good photographer for our special day. By doing some searching online we felt that Nathans pictures really stood out after comparing to everyone we could find. We started emailing him nearly half a year before our wedding date and were already happy, as mailing back and forth went really smooth and our questions were always answered!
Upon arriving in Santorini we arranged for a quick meet to get to know one another and lay out a basic strategy before the wedding day. We really appreciated that he also brought some examples of various album designs, layouts, sizes and materials. While Nathan is a really friendly, calm and easy-going guy, he also kept very good track of details and remembered the important things along the way keeping it very professional. He has been working in Santorini for nearly a decade and it really shows.
Since we had our wedding with just me and my wife alone, we made sure we had a lot of time to take pictures. This was really important to us seeing that we had to show something to our relatives upon arriving at home again! Our photosessions were split in half; One half during preparations/ceremony, and the other half during the early evening and sunset. Nathan offered to drive us if we provided the car, which also was a good choice. He knows the island really well and where all the different light settings works best. We had our photoshoot in a small intimate village outside emporio and after that we went to fira for the sunset. It was absolutely magic. He found the perfect spots and took some perfect, breathtaking photos.
We can not emphasize how extremely much this meant for us, since we were relying on photographies to show back home. They really turned out better than we could ever imagine, and the fact that Nathan is really professional yet casual and calm, made the entire day perfect. Neither me or my wife are really comfortable being photographed, but with Nathan, even when our expectations were so high, it was no problem at all.
I have to mention his assistant Andrea too, as she was really helpful and added a lot to the good mood during the session. She also did an amazing job on creating our customized wedding album, getting everything exactly the way we wanted. Emails were going back and forth daily, and not once did we feel ‘forgotten’, even though everything was happening during a very busy time for them.
They also dropped by for some coffee before our trip home to discuss the photographies, albums and make sure everything was good!
Nathan and Andrea took very good care of us as their clients and made sure that our photosessions were perfect! We also felt that we made two new friends ??
So.. if you are looking for a good and professional photographer that knows all the secret "treasures" of santorini, and you want a pleasant photoshoot for any occasion; I would only recommend Nathan as the best solution for you!
